I haven't been to any of the CA Indian casinos, except Pala, since the compact was signed with the governor. However, it's my understanding that is allows conventional (house-banked) games and regular slots than can accept & drop coins/tokens.
According to a survey of games in Casino Player magazine recently, most CA Indian casinos have converted to regular (Nevada style) blackjack, without the ante, though some still have it.
Seems like any card game variant is legal now, as Let It Ride, Caribbean Stud and mini-baccarat are all being dealt at Pala. The only games not allowed are Roulette and Craps (though the restriction seems ludicrous to me).
Even as nice as the Pala Casino is, I still prefer to drive the extra distance for real Nevada gambling.
