Costa Cruise Line, the largest cruise line serving Europe, is owned by Carnival Corp. Inc. and it has been Carnival's policy to replace roulette chips with the generic-looking chips -- eliminating the one with the cruise line name or ship's name on them. Princess Cruise Line roulette chips used to feature a SeaWitch logo on all their chips, but they now use nautical images like sailboats, anchors, sea shells, etc., and have dropped making the chips proprietary to each ship by name and line. It was a cost-cutting move since Carnival Corp., Inc. is the largest cruise line sailing today with multiple brands under their umbrella.
