Question for today

Reading an article in this week's Numismatic News asking readers if they favor abolishing the lowly cent. A CNBC Poll of 3322 participants revealed that 75% said yes, abolish the cent. 28% said no to the idea and 4% said they were not sure.

Nearly 60% of the US. Mint output is cents.. In the year 2011, 4.9 billion cents were struck. In the first11 months of 2015 it was 8.9 billion cents.

What are YOUR thoughts?

Many countries do not have pennies, nickels, etc
The USA never had pennies, either grin
