Maybe its a Maryland thing? Im pretty sure they keep a slice to keep the pots going? I would think its the same everywhere... I know the feds take the most right off the top then your state screws you a little more. You are lucky to get 1/3 of your winnings once everyone is done... This is what I heard on the news...
