Fred there's a casino in Kansas City that is just right off down town (Isle of Capri, at that time is was the Flamingo). When Station Casino was in Kansas City, they were about to buy this casino (while owning another one about 3 miles away).

The story I was told by employees at the casino was that casino was a "cash cow" do to the large amount of welfare checks that were being cashed at the casino (and a lot of that money going into the machines).

If you give some people a dream of making it rich (with little effort), they will give you all their money not thinking about being broke tomorrow.
