Too Modern for 1930's.....

Jamison's hat-and-cane chips are too modern for a club that operated in the 1930's (probably illegally). And, they are in mint condition. I'm starting to wonder if they were made as movie props or for some trade -drink chips, bus tokens redeemable for real chips at a destination casino? Both NF and MH chips were stored together, as I understand Jay's story of finding them, leading me to think the person originally placing the chips into storage was a salesman to some Asian business ventures; nobody took delivery of these chips, hence they went into storage and eventually, after unpaid rent, into the hands of a purchaser of unclaimed property. Just my guess at this time.
