A.J., I don't know anything about sailing ships but I looked closely at the three scans below and they all show the same type of ship. The two together are from my collection and attributed to Cutty Sark. The Cutty Sark label shows the same type of ship as does the red one from the chips you posted. I don't know the answer but it seems to me that the chips you posted are part of the Cutty Sark poker set or they were made in other colors after the Cutty Sark order. Strange !! maybe someone knows the rest of the story.
