I always thought these two chips had a pretty generic gate design. I have a feeling the guys that ordered these chips didn't have a club logo or any particular design in mind. I bet they just told the USPC artist to "design something pretty for me". I have seen garden gates on several playing cards. It a common theme. The open gate beckons you to come on in. The only chips I can think off hand that indicate an actual building is the Elks 99 and Agua Caliente chips. A think there were some Cuban San Suci's too. I just don't think the gate scene on your two chips have anything to do with what the clubs actually look like.
