I'm looking for an accurate attribution for the GC chip. I have it as the Garden Club, Chicago. I don't know who gave me that attribution but I don't trust it.

For an accurate attribution I would give you your choice of either a GC crest and seal or a Fortune Club, Reno crest and seal. My choice on color.

Here are my current thoughts on the attribution. I believe there may be a connection between these two chips

The two chips were ordered 7 months apart. It strikes me as odd that the graphic on both chips is a hand drawn picture of the entrance to the club/house but does not show the actual structure. Plus, only two initials identify each chip. I think it would be a good guess that the same person ordered both chips. Since Robert McClugage out of Peoria, IL ordered the WC chip, the question is: did McClugage also own or was a member of a club with the initials GC?
