Too bad, that's porch pirates who watch for packages, run up and grab them.

I don't have that problem where I am now (rural USPS and others drop on the doorstep), but I got a Postnet box just in case. Now I can be away for a few days and now worry about a shipment UPS getting returned for delivery tries. No packages sitting on the front deck. Kind of a self insurance, for everything.
