Have you ever been to Wendover, Nevada? No. No one has.

But do you have chips from Wendover, Nevada? That's much more likely.

The casinos along the Nevada-Utah border are in West Wendover, Nevada, not Wendover. Walk across the state line and you're in Wendover, Utah, in a state that doesn't exactly embrace casino gambling.

For some reason, the vast majority of the chips from West Wendover's casinos say they're in Wendover. It's probably a minor detail to most people, although I've read that many of the people in Wendover, Utah, who want nothing to do with the gambling culture are the ones upset with the incorrect designation.

Some of the West Wendover casinos have gotten it right, listing West Wendover on their chips' inlays. But most haven't.

At least Wendover Will got it right in his sign, even if he probably should be known as West Wendover Will.
