These chips are from a long, by Vegas standards, time ago. They used these in the era before, the monster stack, mega stack and most notably the deep stack from Venetian. The daily tournament was $1000 buy in and they didn't use a higher denomination in this set. The first year after Venetian started the deep stack era they used a 5000 Bud Jones with these Paulson chips. The next year they had three separate sets of Bud Jones. These haven't been used for six or seven years.
