She went to LV with her Dad in 1950's, he was playing BJ and she saw this chip, it remaindered her of the Paddle Wheeler that would go up and down the Mississippi river in front of her house. She asked if her Dad would take/give her the chip as a memory of her LV trip. Kept is her jewelry box for 48 years. Then started going to garage sales and buying used clothing, then wash and iron, selling on e-bay to make a few bucks to help pay the bills, as she only had a SS income. A friend suggested she put the chip on e-bay and maybe make a few dollars. The buyer said couldn't happen to a nicer person. The rest of the story, the chip looked like a 5.00 chip, and casino pulled after only in play for a few hours, and destroyed all chips except two were missing.
