Gary's Casino was in the building on the corner of U.S. Highway 50 and Kahle Drive in Stateline.
In the early 1960s, it was originally a drug store which housed the first Stateline post office.
In July 1965 it became the South Shore Club casino, but changed its name a month later to the South Tahoe Club (probably after a sternly worded letter from Harrah's, which had the South Shore Room a mile down the highway).
In 1970, the building housed the Stagecoach Casino, owned by Eric W. Zink (who also owned The Riverboat casino a block to the southwest).
In the late '70s, the building became Gary's Casino.
In the 1980s, it became the Stateline Medical Center.
Today, the former South Tahoe Club and Gary's Casino building houses a real estate office. (The iconic sign in front was removed a few years ago.)
