I'd still try Firefox on the PC you have a problem with if only as a debugging tool. If both browsers have a problem with those two sites, your next step is different from the case where Firefox works, IE-11 does not. It only takes a few minutes to load the software and there is no charge. You can delete Firefox afterwards if you want.
