If you blinked in 1947, you probably missed this one. The Twin States Club on Lake Tahoe's south shore was open for only six weeks, giving up its gaming license after going broke. I'm surprised someone had the foresight to take a picture of it. It later became the Tahoe Colonial Club, which later became the Tahoe Palace.
Chips from the Twin States Club were not known until a couple of years ago, when David Spragg posted here that 10 of the $5 chips had been found and the IDs confirmed. I was happy to get one of them.
