I've seen most of the Cirque du Soleil shows staged in Las Vegas and found them to be worth the time and money. I have not seen New York New York's Zumanity sex show as the reviews I've see on it are uniformly negative. If you are a player at a reasonable level, you can often get your Host to comp you a pair of tickets for the show at the hotel they work for.
You will certainly be amazed at the acrobatics of the young performers in these shows .
Don't overlook Le Reve Show at Wynn Las Vegas. It's not run by Cirque du Soleil but has lots of acrobatics and water. I highly recommend it.
Blue Man Group has been playing for years in Las Vegas and is reopening this week at Luxor. It is something completely different... surprising and funny. Be aware that you will get wet if you sit in the first 6-8 rows (ponchos are provided). Everyone should see Blue Man once!
Finally, if you want a big top-less production show, the last remaining classic showgirl production on the Strip., don't miss Jubilee! at Ballys. When I saw it 10-15 years ago they still had a live orchestra for music. Don't know about today, and you may get recorded music here as with most other shows at the Las Vegas hotels. Still a classic!
