There definitely was a Main Entrance Club on Tahoe's south shore in the 1930s and 1940s. I've seen a picture of it somewhere. I don't know what kind of gaming was there, but the MEC chip could be from there and therefore still a Tahoe chip, even if it has been incorrectly attributed to the Stateline Country Club.
