Somehow, I have talked my wife into our first Las Vegas trip in over six years. We won't be going until February but I am a planner and trying to do as much research and planning as I can already. Any information that people can provide is greatly appreciated and I'm sure I will be asking more questions over the next 3 months so bear with me.
We got an offer to stay at the Westgate Las Vegas and have hardly ever set foot in the place (and that's when it was the Hilton). Has anyone stayed at the Westgate or have any information on it? We were told we would be in one of the newly renovated signature rooms which I think are supposed to be nicer but I have been reading a lot of reviews and they seem to be all over the board and I really have no idea what to expect. Any reviews or opinions of the hotel / casino would be greatly appreciated. We also had an offer for the Downtown Grand but I'm thinking the Westgate would be a better option.... Disagree??? Tell me why!
My wife really wants to go see a Cirque du Soleil show while in Las Vegas. I know NOTHING about these and really need some help. Which shows are the best? Are you able to get the cheapest tickets and still have a good experience? Is there any way to get cheaper tickets? I know that they have the half price ticket booths around town but do they have popular shows like these available? Again, any information will be great.
The last question that I have for now is whether the High Roller (Ferris wheel) and the Neon Boneyard are worth the money? I have always wanted to do these but I have been looking at prices and they both seem to be expensive with mixed reviews of whether they are worth the money or not. Any discounts available anywhere for either of these attractions?
Thanks again everyone for any help you can provide. Dan R-8220
