I have driven Rt 66 from Chicago to Kingman over a dozen times, only once from Kingman to Santa Monica. there is so much of the old road that you can travel on. Once I took 2 months to travel it, just camping, fishing along the way and lots of photos. I must have over 2,000 negatives and probably 3K plus digital images. I was going to try and do a photo book but 7 or 8 years ago...lots and lots of Rt 66 books hit the market. My favorite part is thru NM, always loved taking photos in NM, bluest skies and whitest clouds I have ever seen. First trip was 1969 and the last was about 4 years ago.
