Reminds me a few years back I was at a coin store in Temecula Old Town that also had quite a few Chips. I believe the owner's son exhibited Silver Strikes at all the club conventions for many years.
Well I was in the store looking at books of chips, and a customer walked in with some of his own chip books he took out of a briefcase. He went through the bargain bin and bought some chips and I noticed he had some very expensive looking chips in 2" x 2" holders in his binders in his suitcase..but upon closer inspection there were just color copies of the chips. He explained he couldn't afford the older, expensive chips so part of his collection was cutting out photos (I assume from the Chip Guide) and putting them in the chip holders..he seemed very happy with his collection..talk about collecting chips on a budget.
