Howdy's second annual "chip dig" today at the Nevada Historical Society in Reno was a small show but a big success, thanks in large part to Howdy's promotion of it. There were only three dealers set up - Howdy, Bud Meyer and me - but the place was packed all morning and into the early afternoon.
And the show attendees had plenty of their own chips to sell. I picked up these beauties for my Tahoe collection.
If you're ever in Reno, the American Gaming Archives, which Howdy coordinates at the Historical Society, is a must-see for those who appreciate casino history.
