U should always try to..........

Aloha to all my fellow ccgtcc Chippers,
Rich H. is correct! Try to smile sincerely at the officer, with both your hands on the steering wheel, to lower the speed before he starts to write the citation.
My best friend was a Hawaii police LT.
He always told me to be nice and polite to the officer, and ask him before he starts to write the ticket to lower the speed.
Many times the officer will just give u a warning.
If the officer will not, U should contest it.
I remember one time I got ticketed for going 66 in a 45 mph.
I told my HPD LT buddy, he told me to contest it, but like an idiot, I told him....."I was speeding and I was caught. Me Bad!"
The results was my insurance jumped up by 50%!!!!!
And sadly the solo bic officer who ticketed me, was hit and killed by a drunk driver as he was issuing a ticket!
That was my last ticket. Now that I am a 65 year old Fart Senior Chipper....I drive like my grandparents.....really really slow in the right lane.
Ciao and keep on Chipp'n!
