If your looking to invest and make this hobby about profit, then you have a point.

However if you collect because you love chips and dont really care if they appreciate in value then these are once in a lifetime finds (Assuming you collect foreign chips like I do).

Now I realize that these are not going to appreciate in value like a vintage Vegas chip might, but if your looking to add a chip to your collection that no one else has and it fits into what you collect, they seem like a great deal to me.

Someone told me a long time ago that collect what you love and you will never be hurt.

I would also never make fun of what someone else collects, but thats just me.
