That's not necessarily a "second issue." The mold is what I call "H&C(L&S)" on my website. Both long cane and short cane dies were used in the manufacture, so you wind up with long cane chips, short cane chips, and some chips with long on one side and short on the other. I prefer to have one of that last category in my collection, so the manufacturing style is apparent, as you can see with the $1, $5 and $25 on my website:

Unfortunately I had a pretty small sample of $100s to choose from, and none were long on one side and short on the other.
