and then take the Mt. Rose highway up the Mountain past the ski lodge and you will see a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe that is only second to the overlook of Grand Canyon. From there you may chose several options of how to drive around Lake Tahoe...my choice is Crystal Bay, Emerald Bay the California side to So. Lake Tahoe.
