Serif is a decorative line added to a letter

You will note that in writing this, the letters are straight-forward. No serifs.

Don't think I can change fonts here but if you go to a letter or document on your own computer, and choose something like Baskerville Old Style or Times New Roman as a font, you will see letters with little fancy lines especially in the capital letters. Those are serifs.

So with your chip, the lettering for Harrah's etc. should look a bit different.
