Dice Questions

Just found some of my casino dice, in storage.

Some seem to be shrinking? (or puckering in the middle) A couple are stuck to each other. Some seem to be crystallizing and crazing.

Makes me wonder how they seemed to be fine for 40 years and now are starting to deteriorate. Did I do something wrong in the storage? Like closed plastic box, or did they just reach the age, where this starts to happen? The ones that are crazing were that way 15 years ago.

If I sell my entire collection, minus a few for photo props, what's the best way?

Meaning, eBay all for one price, or make assorted lots? Lets say, nothing "rare" but some unusual, including "cheatin dice" that I picked up near the Kentucky border in a little antique store in Ohio. Amvets and small locals. I can see where the spots were weighted and some the paint is falling off. Also some that people might call trick dice, where they only have some of the spots. In the case with the other "cheaten dice".

The rest are Nevada. Many of those were from gift shops since the 80-90s as keychains. If you ever wanted over a dozen different Stockmen's Casino, Elko dice, drilled, I have them. grin I'd go and dig into the jar in the gift shop, every year. One time they were running out and I asked when they would get more, the lady said, no more. So I bought them all.

That's when I discovered tiny variations of the cows, rocks, mountains, size, spots or color in the HS.
