Some days ago Scott Goodrich posted some Hat and cane mold chips with a nib in two of the hats. I had not seen this before. Scott sent me one, as I collect odd stuff like that. it looks, feels and sounds the same when it hits a wood table. I can tell no difference at all from a regular Paulson chip. I got my wife's Weight Watchers scale out and compared them. The chip with the nibs is about a half gram heavier. Could the nibs account for the extra weight? If these aren't something that got by quality control at quarter to five on Friday at Paulson, then they are very, VERY good knock offs....except for the two nibs one one side.
