Re: Book vs Market (opinion)
In Response To: Re: Book vs Market (opinion) ()

My .02 for what it's worth ... Many of us remember the days of walking and walking and walking to get from one casino to another on the strip; the days of .99 buffets, mob control, comps for playing $2 blackjack, and casinos with "character." For the most part these are the chips that capture the history and excitement of Las Vegas. Many of today's Vegas goers go only for the party, the dj, and the poolside fun. They play games they have no idea how to play just to say they have done it. My point is that they have no appreciation for the history of this remarkable city. Until they get older and many of their playgrounds are demolished they will not appreciate it. Then a new generation of collectors will arrive and those Mirage, Bellagio, Wynn, Venetian, etc. chips will have some value ... or will it be night club free drink chips ???????? Obviously a post here from an ol' f**t.
