When I was a young boy, my best friend's father was Rocky's personal physician. We would often meet Rocky on our visits to a drug store in Brockton, MA, where he would spring for ice cream for all the kids. One summer he came to a cookout at Dr. Pinzino's summer home in Pembroke, MA. We spent the afternoon water skiing with him. A real gentleman who never forgot his roots and always had a soft spot for the kids who idolized him.
