Your chip is one of 20 issued for the 20th anniversary of Resorts International. Each one had a date like the one you show "1992" and they were issued in books with 20-chip sets to very high rollers, and given out as singles to others urging them to keep coming back to get another at a later date. There was an angle -- in addition to celebrating the 20-years, the casino held a contest by enclosing one chip in a sealed envelope (see scan below) that could contain a chip worth $5,000. I have often wondered if anyone ever got the prized chip. I collected my set one at a time. Hope this helps.
