Hi Scott.
IMO you were not told the truth about the chips. Table C usually means the 3rd roulette table.
Only 2 clubs in KY had enough business for 3 roulette tables.
Lookout House closed in 1951 before any H&C mold was made.
Their gambling room was "The Little Club." It was called that for a reason. It was little. No room for 3 roulette tables.
Beverly hills gambling room was a little bigger but still way too small for 3 roulettes.
They closed in 1961. Only the CJ shinny had was being made in 1961.
CJ = Bill Christy and Bud Jones selling in K.C., MO.
They broke up in early 1960's. Christy took the CJ mold to Las Vegas, joined with Paul Endy and opened Paulson in 1965.
That is the earliest a regular H&C mold could have been made. If fact I believe it was not made for a few years.
There are Burt records of literally 1,000's of blank shinny H&C's being shipped to Paulson for Paulson the hot stamp.
Your chips are not shinny H&C, Earliest they could have been made is 1965.
Kills the KY story.
I can not explain the raised bumps. I believe your chips are clay compression chips made at Paulson.
I doubt Paulson can answer the question. Current salesmen didn't even know about long and short canes until I told them.
An actual Production mgr might have the answer.
