They may have had thier "connections" and they may not have always been model citizens so to speak... But they knew how to party, they knew how to have fun... They knew how to keep their mouths shut, and keep what needed to be private... Private! Most of all they had class.... And they treated thier fans with that same respect.... Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis on the casino floor, either dealing or playing, but with the fans.... Today you can't even get within 10 feet of Pete Rose.... And who even wants to get that close to a complete ass... Doubt we'll ever see that era come around again.
