Remembering what (and whom) is important

When I was serving as the club's membership officer at the chip conventions at the South Point, the three tables that I faced were Eric Rosenblum, James Campiglia and Myrna & Mark Lighterman. And every convention, I would get at least two hugs (one before the show & one after it closed) from Myrna. She was a kick...ALWAYS with that HUGE smile. She would bring me cookies, offer me some of her lunch...always with THAT SMILE!! vbg I finally found this picture (I didn't take it, so don't blame me for it being fuzzy grin ) which reminds me of the real fun of being a part of this hobby -- the wonderful, WONDERFUL people. We've lost some really great people, but being a "silver-linings" kinda guy, I feel blessed to have even met them...and it was through this hobby. I just wanted to say thanks to those that have become friends & acquaintances. Enjoy the hobby...enjoy the people -- and enjoy the glory of Myrna Lighterman's smile (and that's our friend Barry Hauptman in the back for those of you that haven't met Barry). grin
