I think it is a ring seal used by the Vatican Principality in Rome. What you are showing resembles a red wax papal design. Do a Google search and ask to show images instead of data. Use words like papal ring, pope, cardinals ring, etc. Even Papal medals and coins. However, it looks like a wax seal usually made by a Bishop or Cardinal's ring. Just an opinion.
