This pair of chips shows the results of the change in molding-resin that Chipco experienced several years ago. The lighter chip shows how the image fades with time, eventually becoming almost the color of the white base chip. The other chip shows the replacement that Chipco supplied to recover from the inadvertent resin change in the process. Both chips appear unused.
