You've just reminded me of another project that I want to do "sometime". Scan the covers of our phone books, and list the towns that are in each one!

We have 20+ small-town phone books. A few are for single towns (Fallon, at least). One says "Elko" on the binding, but the cover says "Carlin/Elko/Wells/Lamoille/Montello/Wendover/Ruby Valley and Vicinity". Still others say "Mason & Smith Valley". Another is "White Pine, Lincoln, & Eureka Counties". They range from 1945-2013. I can't figure out if we have anything that lists Winnemucca after 1964 !

And then there's the Reno phone books, which list some of the smaller towns in the area....

And of course the pre-1957 phone books, which were nearly state-wide....

So much information, if I could only figure out where to look!
