The false chips are becoming easier to identify so
In Response To: A Borland Counterfeit? ()

the latest attempt at falsifying chips is by getting blank molds and hot stamping it with some "recognizable name".

As a joint effort by many of us, at different times we have identified and stopped most new falsification. The Cuban chips are practically non-existent in the island after 15+ years of Cubans searching every piece of rock in the island. So, after no "new" chip found in the last few years they were starting to bring large # of falsified chips. We stopped the three separate groups doing this by threatening the American counterparts, all know to me by now, to expose them. Responsible sellers among us.

It has been a while since ebay has shown any new falsifications.

But, still some of them get their way to private collectors as they no longer attempt ebay or other places where many of us can see.

So, this would not be a big surprise!
