The $500 chip in the Chip Guide is a representation of the chip we see in the USPC Co. records. I do not have the chip. I told that to Robert Eisenstadt and Rich H. I don't know anyone that has it. There may be a box of them out there some where but, for now that image in the USPC Co. file is all we have. The photo in the Guide is what the chip looks like. No one is deceived in that respect. It's informational. When someone scans the actual chip they should post in the Chip Guide. Did anyone ever get that chip with the holes in it from USPC?
There are many, many chips in the Chip Guide that are submitted by people that don't have the chip in their hand. I often see where they were lifted from on auction sites and elsewhere. You can always tell.....It's in the details.
Over ten years ago I got a mailing from Belterra Casino. Inside was a photo of some of their chips. The $1000 chip is one that wasn't in the Guide. I showed the photo to Greg Susong and told him I could straighten it out and make it presentable for the Guide. He said give it a try. I did, and he thought it was great and put it in the Guide. Neither of us ever had the chip but, it is accurate. I have seen the chip since and that's exactly how it looks. It's not to fool anyone. If someone gets the $1000 submit a new scan. I value the integrity of the Chip Guide as much as anyone.
