Just a wild guess, Jay: could the loopy "M" actually represent a Fountain, Geyser or Curative Spring? I'd look for a health spa that had such an attraction, maybe a hot spring, and offered card games (probably illegal) on the side. Do they have hot springs in Colorado? Maybe even from Hot Springs, AR?
