alluded to, there is only one person that has the current membership count & that is the club's Membership Officer. At the club's annual business meeting last month, Richard Huber presented total active/current membership numbers somewhere just below 1500 members (as best as I can recollect). This number included 240+ - Life Members, 250+ - Associate members with the remainder being Regular members. With regards to peak membership, I believe that Ralph Myers would have the best idea about those numbers as he was the Membership Officer during the heyday of the club. I would guess that active/current membership during that time peaked at between 3100-3400 members. In the summer of 2008, membership had dropped to right at or just below 2000 active/current members and the club has been "leaking" about 60-80 members per year since.
