I have read most of the recent posts on this board regarding the future of the club. My thoughts are as follows:

1) If I were on the board today, I would probably resign. There are so many posts, coming from so many directions about what is wrong, and why the board is not changing, evolving, etc. that I would probably feel like I am wasting every minute that I dedicate to the club and find other ways to spend my precious, but limited, free time.
2) I would encourage those who hold strong opinions on what should be done to run for election, perhaps as a group with a specific platform, and if you win, implement the platform.
3) My feeling is that we have the potential to quickly fracture the club and weaken it if we are not careful with how we frame our comments and debate.

I believe that all parties have the same goal, but different visions on how to accomplish it. I would hope that we can find some common ground before this spins out of control.
