I'm in my mid 40's. Before chips, I collected stamps and then baseball cards from the mid 1970's to the late 80's right up until the time the manufacturers flooded the market around 1988, and for the most part ruined a great hobby. I was even a part-owner of a real brick and mortar baseball card store in Southern California for several years.
The young kids today are going to be very difficult to lure. The last great "collecting generation" are those that are now in their late 30's and 40's. They also have the most disposable income. No way most 20-somethings will be spending money on casino collectibles as they are trying to get their career going, start a family, etc.
I would focus on these 35-50 types...not the 18-25 year olds..that would still give the hobby another good 40 years..
