I used to run Round Robins but I stopped doing them several years ago. Why? Because there were certain individuals that abused the Round Robins. They replaced the same chip in the Round Robin with one from their collection in worse condition. They replaced good chips with chips that were not collectable due to damage and excessive wear. And when confronted, they refused to make good. My advise:
1) Only allow CCGTCC club members in the round robin, believe it or not ... one of the individuals lied about being a Club member.
2) Be very specific about the rules of the Round Robin, what is allowed and not allowed.
3) Make each participant responsible for the Round Robin, if they get the Round Robin and something ain't right then they have to speak up or they will become responsible.
It is very unfortunate that these individuals effectively killed the Round Robins, they were a lot of fun to do and I always looked forward to getting one in the mail.
