At least collecting chips as a hobby there is a good chance that one will recoup some of the cost of aquisition after you are done with it.

How about those who have purchased life long season tickets to major league sporting events? Who wants to purchase their used ticket stubs and parking receipts when the are done with them? How about golfers, or bowlers? Anybody in the market for purchasing a collection of golf score cards or bowlers score sheets or concert ticket stubs??

Remember, we never really own these pieces of plastic and clay that we collect and treasure. We are merely temporary custodians until someone else winds up with them to continue the custodianship after we are done with them through a sale or passing them on to our heirs.

Enjoy your chip hobby that gives you so much enjoyment knowing that when you tire of it, or it retires you, there may be some recoup compensation at the end.
