after reading the posts on needed changes to the club, the website and recruiting new members I offer this. Is the club perfect? No !! Could the website be changed for the better? Possibly!! Could we recruit better? Yes !! But to what??? I feel what we have works pretty well. The problem may not be any of the above. It could just be what is happening to our youth and young adults. They have become slaves of the electronic and gadget age. I'll wager what is happening to our club is happening to collectables and hobbies across the board. How many young new stamp collectors are there today? How many young new coin collectors are out there? Our youth is so busy playing video games, using smart phones and watching TV they have no time for other interests. Even sports cards don't draw the attention they did 20-30 years ago. (MHO)

Do we have an app for chip collecting? (I ask out of ignorance as I don't have a smart phone) Others smarter than I may have the answers. I just hope there is a solution, as I love this hobby.
