Yep; That's the reality of it all Albert! I recall Tom & Gayle Plau's efforts to put on a similar show at the Music Pier in Ocean City, NJ (very close by to A.C.) several years ago. Several out of state dealers, including Jerry Wall from California had tables. Some people from NJ and neighboring states drove in for the first day, but didn't return or stay overnight for the remaining days. Some only showed up for a trade session, but never returned the next day. Lack of customer attendees ... a familiar story as yours.... killed that show from taking root. My personal opinion is that I don't think a CCGTCC convention in A.C. (as some have suggested) would fare any better.
