I don't know who had that chip made. But it looks like it was made to commemorate the 2007 election and the candidate who got 27 votes. He kept calling anyone who questioned him an idiot but never spelled it correctly, always spelling it "idot."

The tainted election though...that I know about.

In that election, since we were both running opposed, Vice-President Thompson and I decided to send club members cards asking for their vote. An honest mistake was made and members who were on the DNP list were contacted.

As a way of trying to make things right, both of the other people running were offered the chance to provide their own cards and send them to President Skelton to be mailed with Wayne and I paying the postage.

My opposition decided not to take the offer and Wayne's also said no. He seemed more interested in yelling "tainted" at every opportunity.

** People were much more upset about my cards being sent than they were Wayne's. I guess they thought my opposition was a more viable candidate than Wayne's was.

That's the short of it. The whole thing, including Wayne's opposition's accusations that bordered slanderous, are in the archives if you want to to lose another hour or two of your life.
