I know I'm out on a limb here but while we are shaking things up… I wanted to bring up a topic that I believe
could be important to the Club.

It makes no sense to me to have all this great Club talk here on the Chip Board. From what I know… the Chip Board was
started as an alternative to the Club Board. People responded to it and it has become the best place to get daily chip information
without the "OFFICIAL" connotation of the Club Board. It was continued after changing owners and it is run very well. I'm here
almost daily.

Have we "The Club" thought of working out a deal with the "Chip Board" to merge the two message boards….

yes… that sounds scary, but we are just brainstorming… hold your judgements.

The Club's "Message Board" link could be dropped as we know it. The Club's "Message Board"
tab could be renamed "The Chip Board" and linked to the thechipboard.com

The Chip Board would live inside the Club's website and be an unofficial club message board. The Club would not control it.

The Club would loose their "OFFICIAL" blog (((crickets crickets)))) but could replace that function with a News letter page.

The Club would gain all of the great energy that takes place over here.

I know this is a complicated issue and there are lots of overlapping interests but it is worth thinking about.

In short… The Club would eliminate its competition by embracing it.

and before I forget…. It would be great to merge all of the past TCB archives so you could just do one search for past posts.

again… sorry for the multiple rants. It is summer time and I'm off work.
